How do I proceed with booking a stay?

New groups are required to pay a 50% deposit of your total charges and sign a Statement of Account and SMRCC Guidelines and Policies to book. For our returning guests, we will require your 25% deposit 6 months prior to your event along with your signed Statement of Account and our guidelines.
May I bring my pet?
Currently, Summers Mill is a pet-free property. If you have a service animal, please call our office.
Do you have ADA compliant accommodations?
We have ADA rooms available, and our catering partner is able to accommodate special dietary requirements. Please ask your retreat organizer for information.
Lost Property
All lost property found on the premises will be stored for 30 days. If items are not collected within this time they will be donated to local charities. Liquids, undergarments, and hair brushes are kept for 24 hours.
Are meals provided?
We do have a beautiful dining room and our onsite caterer (Mc3 Catering) prepares exceptional cuisine from our kitchen. We do ask that arrangements be made ahead of time if you plan to use them as they only prepare requested meals. Be sure to check out some of their meals listed on the Catering page.

You can also bring your own food as many of the accommodations have full kitchens, and we have many grills on site.
We are about a 15–20 minute drive to Belton, Salado, and Temple.

Is Summers Mill for church groups only?
Although we love hosting church retreats, worship times & planning get-aways, we also work with businesses, colleges, and public schools to host events. Summers Mill is a great place to host your next family reunion. Our spaces will also accommodate individuals or families. Have your wedding down at the pecan bottom on Salado Creek or in our beautiful chapel!
Will my cell phone work on property?
Most cell phone providers have coverage at Summers Mill, but it is generally only one to two bars.
What should I bring?

What should I do in case of an emergency?
If you need to reach one of our guests in an emergency, please contact our main number, (254) 939-6194, and we will promptly relay the message. If you are on property, we have someone on call 24/7.
Where is the nearest airport?
The nearest commercial airport is Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport (GRK), approximately 40 minutes away. The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is about an hour drive.
What activities are available at Summers Mill?

What about tobacco usage on the property?
If you smoke, we ask that you refrain from doing so in rooms or on room porches and balconies.
What are the quiet hours?
Please be respectful of other groups at Summers Mill at all times. After 10 pm, we ask that you keep all noises to a minimum as other guests could be sleeping.
