When one door closes…
The Chisholm Trail Ostrich Farm started on this property in 1987, growing from two birds to the largest ostrich farm in North America, exceeding 3,000 birds in over 500 paddocks.
Our Conference Center was once our hatchery, and Big Bird Lodge was the place where the chicks were raised.
Today, Big Bird has ten bedrooms with private baths. Five of the rooms have two queen beds and five have one queen.
